Mapping Science

The Mapping Science project aims to see weather true interdisciplinary studies are being done or if over time, “silos” of research form in the academic world. In order to test this, thousands of academic papers from different journals are analyzed over a period of years and clustering different characteristics we can see the path the Academia is taking.

This visualization is based on the work by Moritz Stefaner to show the formation of neuroscience as a field.
